CRUSADE is a brand new piece of work: a dramatic exploration of racial intolerance and inter-religious conflict, drawing parallels between the events of medieval crusading expeditions and recent discord between Islamic and western groups. Working with internationally-recognised artists and involving local communities, the play will investigate the roots of faith wars and racial disharmony, raising challenging questions through a dynamic and visceral production. The early development process is based between Watershed Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol, UK and Odin Teatret’s Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium in Holstebro, Denmark.

This work is currently on hold due to the covid19 pandemic as we focus on our online projects. Watch this space for updates in the future.
